Judy Barrett’s success as a floral and event designer began with a career in fashion and a diploma in merchandising, but it was her heart that lead her her to flowers. As she studied floral design she went on to earn accreditation from Kwantlen College that would contribute to her unrivaled work with flowers, and a career that has spanned nearly twenty-five years. With experience in all aspects of the floral industry, Judy’s expertise is evident in the unique beauty of her work and the seamlessness of her weddings and events.

    Judy has recently been distinguished as a Certified Floral Designer (CFD®) by the prestigious American Institute of Floral Design (AIFD). This AIFD designation means that she is recognized as one of the world’s top floral design artists. With a career that continues to be built around education and collaboration it is her mission to advance the art of professional floral design through education and leadership in the floral industry.

    Judy’s education and artistic sensibility has been further enhanced by a Degree in English Literature from the University of British Columbia. Her Appreciation of art, literature and history has served to deepen her aesthetic talents. She feels very fortunate to have made her life’s work designing, teaching, and sharing the beauty of flowers with others.
